The bedtime problem

Every night, the routine lives in your head.

Brush your teeth. Put on pyjamas. No, brush your teeth first. Come back. One more story. Water. Toy. Another reminder. By the end, bedtime can feel less like connection and more like crowd control.

Little Ritual moves the routine out of your voice and onto the board.

Your toddler can see what comes next, press each step as they do it, and feel the tiny win of moving through the ritual themselves. It feels a little bit like magic — because suddenly, they are doing the work.

How it works

A bedtime ritual your toddler can follow.

1

Pick the ritual

Start with the Bedtime Ritual pack: bath, brush, pyjamas, story, sleep and “I did it”.

2

Let them lead

Your child looks to the board to know what comes next, instead of waiting for another reminder.

3

Press each win

Each button press marks one step finished — a tactile little moment that keeps the routine moving.

4

Close the day

The final “I did it” moment gives bedtime a clear ending and your child a reason to feel proud.

Without Little Ritual

  • The parent has to remember, prompt, repeat, negotiate.
  • The child waits to be told what to do next.
  • Every skipped step becomes another reminder.
  • Bedtime independence is hard because the routine is invisible.

With Little Ritual

  • The board shows the next step.
  • Your toddler gets to do the work themselves.
  • Progress feels visible, tactile and fun.
  • Bedtime becomes a ritual you can point to, not a script you repeat.
Why it works

Toddlers do better when the routine is visible.

Young children are still learning how to hold a sequence in their head. Little Ritual gives them a visual, tactile path through the night — so bedtime feels less like instructions and more like something they can own.

Questions, answered

What parents ask first.

What age is this best for?

The concept is designed for toddlers and young children around 2 to 6 — the years where routines are important, but constant verbal reminders often do not work.

Is it only for bedtime?

No. Bedtime is the first ritual pack because it is the strongest pain point, but the board is designed to work with Morning Ritual, Chores and other packs too.

Does it need an app?

No. Little Ritual is intentionally screen-free: no app, no camera, no microphone and no ads.
